Put the lemon in face down and it will squeeze the juice right out the bottom holes without exploding on your face and out the sides. I based this purchase on all the good reviews despite the fact that it wouldn't be shipping Prime. Well it came the other day and the thing stinks! I mean it really stinks! The black part on the handles omits a horrible toxic smell which has not gone away after washing. I tried one lemon with it, and while it smashed it it certainly didn't get all the juice out. Plus, the juice just sprays in many directions. The smell is the worst part and I can't even touch it without my hands stinking.
